FREE Museum Ideas 2017 workshop
Event: Museum Podcasting: How to Share Your Story and Reach New Audiences
Date: Tuesday 3 October 2017
Time: 10.20am – 11.20am
Venue: Garden Room, Museum of London

Podcasts are booming. More and more people are listening and they’re hungry for new content. Museums are among those keen to catch the ear of this growing audience – and with good reason. In this workshop you will learn about podcasting’s unusually attentive, responsive and loyal audience – and how creative audio storytelling can connect you to them, while deepening your relationship with existing museum visitors. You will come away with a complete podcast production plan – learn how to develop series ideas, find a unique voice, record, create, distribute and promote your podcast. The workshop will be led by Laura Sheeter and Ruth Barnes – co-founders of Chalk & Blade: Creative Audio

How to book: This special pre-conference workshop is FREE to attend for Museum Ideas 2017 delegates. To reserve your place please email greg@museum-id.com.
