All in means all in: Democratising the museum environment. Facilitated by Bill Haley – Founding Partner of Haley Sharpe Design (hsd) and members of the hsd studio team, this session will challenge you to explore the practical application of universal design principles within the exhibition environment. Through a series of participatory design challenges, the workshop will stretch your thinking and understanding of the practical considerations and opportunities when creating accessible exhibits that facilitate an equitable experience for all users. Drawing upon real-world case studies, the workshop will explore design parameters, processes and stakeholder discourse. A hands-on, minds-on session but no prior design experience necessary!
