Museum Ideas 2019 was the eighth edition of our annual international conference. It took place on 10-12 September 2019 at the Wellcome Collection and the Museum of London. The event welcomed delegates from 26 countries and featured speakers from Denmark, Sweden, Norway, India, Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and the UK. The 2019 edition saw the fastest uptake of tickets since the conference launched eight years ago and the event was sold out months in advance. The pre-conference talks were chaired by Dan Hicks and the main conference day was chaired by Tony Butler.
