The unique insights in this session will aim to bridge the gaps between exhibition design in the UK and China. Discover the extraordinary differences of scale between UK and Chinese museum projects; How the Chinese public visits museums and what they are looking for; Some of ways in which Chinese museums aim to change behaviour and promote ideas like green living, safety and innovation; and explore some of the new directions being taken by Chinese museums in terms of interpretation planning, audience engagement and volunteering. The workshop will be led by Matt Jones, Lead Consultant China at Imagemakers.
