Are you a specialist in marketing for museums and galleries?
Audiences are at the heart of Leeds Museums and Galleries’ work and the Audience Development team plays a vital role in this across marketing and PR, audience research and digital engagement.
Funded through Arts Council England’s Major Partner Museum programme and from April 2018 as a National Portfolio Organisation, the team’s key purpose is to attract larger and more representative audiences to our nine museums. The team works with colleagues across Leeds Museums and Galleries and beyond.
As part of the team, the postholder will work on marketing campaigns across print and digital, audience research across our museums as well as our current re-branding project. You will be able to deliver across a range of concurrent projects as well as planning strategically to develop our audiences.
We are looking for someone with experience of marketing in the museums and galleries sector who can get up to speed quickly. You must be able to work with departmental colleagues, external partners, funders and suppliers to effectively meet service, directorate and corporate priorities.
The post requires a degree level qualification and a Chartered Institute of Marketing qualification (or equivalent qualification/experience).
The post is funded by Arts Council England and is fixed term until 31 March 2022.
