Conference - Booking Your Ticket
Museum Ideas 2019
“An inspirational conference! A coming together of museum minds from across the world – gaining insights, sharing ideas and making connections” – Gillian Crumpton, Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust
This year we have seen the fastest uptake of tickets since the event launched 8 years ago. The conference is now sold out.
Use the ‘Select options to buy’ link below to book your tickets. Or, email firstname.lastname@example.org if you prefer to be invoiced. Once reserved, tickets may be swapped between colleagues working at the same organisation so you can book multiple tickets now and allocate them nearer the time.
Museum Ideas 2019 ticket rates:
We made a commitment to ensure a quarter of all 2019 conference tickets were either fully funded or available at the subsidised rate of £77. This rate was available for students, emerging professionals, freelancers, those working at independent museums and smaller organisations, and for professionals often underrepresented at museum conferences. This new initiative proved popular and all the reduced rate tickets have now been reserved. All early-bird tickets have also been booked in record time.
Please consider gifting a ticket: Recently someone (who wishes to remain anonymous) booked 2 tickets and requested that the other ticket was gifted to someone just starting out. We think this is a lovely, thoughtful and generous thing to do. If you are able, please consider gifting a ticket.
Tickets are non-refundable but may be swapped between colleagues working at the same organisation. If you prefer to be invoiced for your ticket(s) please email email@example.com to check availability and make your booking. Otherwise, please click on ‘Select options to buy’ link above, select your ticket(s), go to the checkout and purchase via PayPal.
Museum Ideas 2019 takes place in London from Tuesday 10 September – Thursday 12 September. The main Museum Ideas international conference takes place on Thursday 12 September in the Weston Theatre and Clore Learning Centre at the Museum of London.
Your ticket gives you full access to all the talks at the main conference and the conference is designed so it can be attended as a standalone event. So, if you are on a tight schedule and can only put one day aside, the main conference on Thursday will deliver innovative ideas, insights and inspiration.
If you have more time you are invited to take part in 2 days of additional fringe talks but space is more limited and places will be allocated on a first-reserve, first booked basis.
